The healthcare system isn’t actually broken; it’s designed to work exactly as it is. We have to acknowledge a hard truth: sickness keeps the economic wheels turning because, at its core, healthcare functions as a business where the net profit belongs to the architects of that system.
But here’s the empowering part: we don’t have to keep playing our assigned roles in that business model.
Don’t get me wrong—sickness is sometimes inevitable. Genetics, environmental factors, and simple bad luck play their parts. However, the critical difference is that we don’t have to stay sicker, nor should we feel powerless to avoid illness when possible.
Choosing a New Path
The most effective way to opt out of this “sick-care” model is to shift our energy toward maintenance and prevention. By prioritizing our wellbeing, we naturally play a smaller role in a distorted business model that thrives on chronic struggle.
So, I invite you to genuinely ask yourself today: How am I supporting or opposing the current design?
Are your daily choices feeding the business of sickness, or are they an act of quiet rebellion in favor of your own health?
Until next time, keep redesigning the game!
